About Dr. Ahluwalia

Dr. Ahluwalia is a board certified dermatologist and micrographic dermatologic surgeon. She was born and raised in central NJ, attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical school, and then came to the beautiful city of San Diego for her residency and fellowship at University of California, San Diego and Rady Children's Hospital. She joined clinical practice for several years, and received recognition being a "Guardian Angel" and Sharp's "Top New Provider."

Dr. Ahluwalia is truly humbled by the outpouring love and support she received from her patients while she was on maternity leave. Out of the same love, she started Maven Dermatology in October 2023 with a goal of creating a family friendly practice. Her goal is to know you on a personal level and ensure you are confident in your skin. 

Outside of her role as a physician, Dr. Ahluwalia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, visiting the San Diego zoo, and trying new cuisines. Her new interest is living life through the eyes of her newborn son, Arjan.
